It rained all night

It rained all night

 

It rained all night and I was there,

With no one to listen and no one to care.

They left cause they knew it would rain,

I stayed cause I was somewhat insane.

 

The clouds rolled in like a silhouette,

And then the heaven cried its heart out.

While the earth enjoyed the rain,

The heaven cried and cried in pain.

 

Muffled and forgotten in the serenity,

Like a Cello crying to a Violin's uncertainty.

Like the love lost that I never had,

Smiling through the rain looking glad.

 

The shore broke the waves in front of my eyes,

While verses broke the pain into sighs.

I wait by the corner hoping for a stare,

It rained all night and I was there.
