Despair

Desires collides with reality,

Profound peace within elemental eternity,

In the fog of what is not to be,

Despair slipping past into life's cavity.

Dream that seemed so real last night,

That which doesn't exist in day light.

What is wrenched in midst of the cage,

Values lost that was worth a fight.

A shadow of what could have been,

Dreams that were felt but were never seen.

Words felt at the pit but never said,

Like Sun in the winter sky that can't be seen.
