Could be a jester for a lifetime, to make you laugh for a while.
Could shimmer softly like the winter sun, to feel your warmth for a while.
Would give up my deepest desires, to find love in your eyes for a while.
Could tear thyself to tiny bits, to hear your voice for a while.

Would fight my world, to drift with you in your dreams for a while.
Would travel for hundreds of miles, to stare at the clouds with you for a while.
Could walk on the edge, to take all your pain away for a while.
Would face my demons and fears, to make you forget yours for a while.

Could die a thousand times, to see your smile for a while.
Could live through a thousand lies, to hold your hands for a while.
Would stand the storms of time, to have your faith in me for a while.
Could scar my soul endless times, to find my home within you for a while.
