Indulgence with desire
Waves of breath crashing on the shackles of life, While the opium of mass slowly ebbed away, Long and slow erosion of time on living spice, While the illusions of 'me' gently castaway. Apathy of time gnawing my bones, And yet healing and filling my old wound. Fragile body with heart of stones, And yet numbed feelings like they have been vacuumed. Some hope to hold on one more second, A dream again for which I can aspire. Maybe this world has not come to a dead-end, Oh hark of night, let me indulge in desire. Dhrubjyoti
